关于浑水公司的背景，以及几年前针对中概股的狙击，下面这几段文字，是我2013年年底写下的，至今仍然值得阅读： 浑水公司的创始人卡森·布洛克（中文名博乐康）其实是一个“中国粉丝”，早在少年时代就对中国非常向往。1998年从美国南加州大学毕业，主修金融学，选修汉语，他的父亲在美国经营一家投资咨询公司。 据媒体披露，他毕业后来到上海，专门研究中国的B股，并拜访部分公司。但半年后，他意识到价值投资在中国根本行不通。2009年下半年，布洛克受父亲的委托调研中国的东方纸业公司，他们大跌眼镜的是，他们看到的是废弃的大门、一排陈旧的仓库和宿舍以及无所事事的工人，布洛克建议父亲卖空而非买入东方纸业。 上图：被浑水做空的东方纸业，一直没有恢复元气。 这次调研使布洛克茅塞顿开，他终于找到在在中国生财的门路：在上市公司里扒粪、揭黑，通过做空中国概念股赚钱。2010年6月布洛克和朋友合伙在香港成立了浑水公司，名称就来自中国成语“浑水摸鱼”。他们随即发布了一份有关东方纸业的长达30页的卖空报告。此报告发布后3个交易日，东方纸业股价跌幅近40%。在随后的日子里，他们果然摸到了一条又一条大鱼。 Source: 不要让“一个人”打败了“一个国家”晓博说财经新浪博客
